Ethan Biroczky reported that his wife was injured inside a vehicle. Upon arrival, deputies found Ashlee Bogdanoff with gunshot wounds. She was transported to a trauma center in critical condition and succumbed to her injuries on June 20.

On June 18, 2024, at approximately 3:00 p.m., deputies from the Central Station and the Specialized Enforcement Detail attempted to serve an arrest warrant at a residence in the 1900 block of W. Mallory Street in Muscoy, San Bernardino. The subject of the warrant, Fredy Castillo Cabrales, allegedly pointed a firearm at law enforcement officers, resulting in a lethal force encounter (LFE). Cabrales was struck by gunfire and subsequently transported to a hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Stamps has been in custody since January 30, 2023, for attempted murder. A search for Stamps is currently underway.

Inmate Christopher Lommie Jackson, a 25-year-old resident of San Bernardino who has been in custody since 2019 for murder, armed himself with a jail-made metal knife and attempted to stab another inmate. When deputies intervened, Jackson tried to stab a deputy and knocked him to the ground. Responding deputies stopped the assault.
