The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department has apprehended two suspects in connection with the murder of Rene Isordia, a 19-year-old resident of Riverside. The incident occurred on November 17, 2024, when deputies from the Fontana Sheriff’s Station responded to reports of a man down at the 12800 block of Holly Street in Bloomington. Upon arrival, they found Isordia deceased with multiple injuries.
Following an investigation by detectives from the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail, a 16-year-old male from Fontana and Adam Gutierrez, a 25-year-old from Redlands, were identified as suspects. Gutierrez was apprehended on December 5, 2024, with assistance from San Bernardino County Probation. He was initially taken into custody for a probation violation and later booked for PC 187-Murder.
The second suspect, a juvenile male from Fontana, was apprehended on January 2, 2025. The Sheriff's Specialized Enforcement Division assisted in his arrest. He is currently held at the San Bernardino County Juvenile Detention Center on charges of PC 187-Murder.
