On December 9, 2024, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Marijuana Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at a residence on the 5000 block of Honeyhill Road in Oak Hills. The operation uncovered a substantial illegal marijuana cultivation site.

The investigation took place on a five-acre property that featured a newly constructed metal building measuring 120 feet by 40 feet. Inside, investigators discovered over 3,000 trash bags filled with processed marijuana. These bags were stacked more than 12 feet high throughout the building, each weighing between 30 to 50 pounds.

Over two days, the Marijuana Enforcement Team, along with San Bernardino County Code Enforcement and the California Fish and Wildlife Department, seized a total of 51 truckloads of processed marijuana. The haul amounted to over 90,000 pounds with an estimated market value exceeding $100 million.

The case remains under investigation and no arrests have been made as yet.
