Senator Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh (R-Yucaipa) has announced that a hearing date for Senate Bill 1405 has been scheduled for May 1 at 9:30 a.m. in Room 2200. The hearing is set to take place in the Senate Local Government Committee. The Senator encourages the public to attend the hearing to express their views.

Senator Ochoa Bogh also urges all stakeholders to actively participate in the legislative process by sending letters through the Legislative Letters Portal to the Senate Local Government Committee. The deadline for letters is by close of business on April 25. It is important to note that no teleconferencing options are available for this hearing; therefore, all testimony must be given in person.

All correspondence submitted to the committee, whether in support of or in opposition to the bill, will be distributed to all committee members and will be accessible to legislative staff. Copies of any letters can be obtained by contacting Senator Ochoa Bogh's Capitol office.

On the day of the committee hearing, the proceedings can be followed live via the livestream available on the Senate's official website. For additional assistance or inquiries, individuals are encouraged to reach out directly to Senator Ochoa Bogh's Capitol office.
