On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, Aniya King was located and reunited with her family. This update comes after an incident where deputies responded to a report of a missing female juvenile at a residence in the 11700 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue in Grand Terrace.

According to reports, when deputies arrived, they discovered that Aniya King, a 14-year-old resident of Grand Terrace, had left her residence at about 4:00 p.m. and did not return. King, who does not have a cell phone, was believed to have left on foot. She is a student at Washington High School in Colton but had not been in attendance since February 21st. Authorities mentioned that she had connections in the Los Angeles area from her time at a school there.

Described as 5’7” tall, weighing 130 lbs., with brown eyes and red hair, King was last seen wearing a black hoodie, white leggings, and black sandals. In their efforts to locate her, deputies released King's photo to the public and requested assistance in finding her.
