CUSM welcomed students from Cesar Chavez Academy for a day of enrichment activities. We started the day with a presentation on the pathway to medicine, led students through a tour of campus, and ended with activities in our clinical skills and simulation center. Students were able to listen to heart sounds on Harvey, learn about eye pathologies during a retinal exam, and the basics of a patient encounter. Thank you to the Medical Detectives class for being engaging learners. See you in 8 years!
