The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department-Gangs/Narcotics Division recently conducted an investigation into illegal narcotics activity in San Bernardino. This led to a multi-agency operation on December 13, 2024, involving the San Bernardino Police Department, California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino County Auto Theft Task Force, and San Bernardino County Probation.
During the operation at the 400 block of S. Sierra Way, authorities executed a search warrant that resulted in significant seizures. Law enforcement recovered three assault rifles, two unserialized assault rifles known as ghost guns, three semi-automatic handguns, nine pounds of crystalized methamphetamine, 25 pounds of liquid methamphetamine, five pounds of cocaine, 20 pounds of marijuana, a large sum of US currency, and five stolen vehicles. The site was identified as a small clandestine methamphetamine conversion lab.
