On September 21, 2024, deputies from the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station responded to a well check at a residence on the 57500 block of Redondo Street in Yucca Valley, California. Upon arrival, they discovered a deceased male inside the home.

Detectives from the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division-Homicide Detail took over the investigation. Brian Christopher Hall, a 42-year-old resident of Yucca Valley and occupant of the home, was arrested and booked for PC 187-Murder.

The identity of the deceased male has not yet been confirmed. An autopsy will be conducted to determine further details. The Sheriff's Department has stated that additional information will be released as it becomes available.
