On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at approximately 7:01 a.m., deputies from the Twin Peaks Station responded to a medical aid call on the 28000 block of Lakes Edge Road in Lake Arrowhead. Upon arrival, they discovered a deceased male adult.
The nature of the death raised suspicions, prompting the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail to take over the investigation. Through their efforts, detectives learned that the victim had been involved in an altercation with Sui Tin Thang, a 42-year-old resident of Twin Peaks.
Thang was contacted and detained during the course of the investigation. Following this, he was arrested and booked at the West Valley Detention Center for PC 187 - Murder.
