San Bernardino County law enforcement agencies recently concluded a targeted crime suppression operation named "Operation Consequences" from April 20 to April 26, 2024. The operation involved multiple agencies and resulted in significant outcomes.
According to reports, during the operation, a total of 12 search warrants were executed in various locations, leading to the recovery of "over 25 pounds of suspected methamphetamine" and the seizure of "32 firearms, which included two ghost guns." Additionally, "34 felony arrests" were made as part of the law enforcement efforts.
The operation aimed to address quality-of-life issues impacting communities within the county, with the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors allocating funds to support the Sheriff's Department in enhancing law enforcement services.
"Operation Consequences" will continue in the coming months with a focus on conducting targeted crime suppression operations, parole and probation checks, and efforts to combat violent crime and dismantle criminal street gangs in the High Desert and areas surrounding San Bernardino. The operation will involve various law enforcement divisions and agencies working together to address illegal possession, manufacturing, and trafficking of firearms.
The initiative reflects the commitment of San Bernardino County authorities to enhance public safety and combat criminal activities affecting the region.
