I recently had the opportunity to visit Urbita Elementary School for their career day. It was a wonderful experience to speak with young scholars. I enjoyed seeing their faces light up with curiosity as they were able to interact with adults in various careers from fire, police, tech, city, state, and school officials, and even astronauts.
It was nice to see so many people come together to inform and encourage our youth. I appreciate all of the Urbita teachers and administrators for the warm welcome & hospitality. Thank you for all that you do for the children of #SBCUSD. I cannot wait to visit the school again.
