Families who want their elementary and middle school children to attend summer school in person can register them starting Monday, April 18 and until May 6.
Summer school will run from June 8 to June 30 and the hours for elementary school will be 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. CAPS will be offered from 1:30 to 6 p.m. Register at www.sbcusd.com/summer2022. Middle school students, including incoming sixth-graders will attend summer school also from June 8 to June 30 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A CAPS STEAM enrichment will be from 12:30 to 6 p.m. and spots are limited.
Students who participate in summer school will strengthen their academic foundations in English language arts, math, and a variety of exploratory electives to prepare them for the next grade. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided for all students enrolled in summer school. Transportation will be provided for students who qualify.
