Of the 10,141 people living in Mentone CDP in 2020, 48 percent (4,866) were women and 52 percent (5,275) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the East SBV Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 13. In the 65 and over age range, there were 575 females and 588 males.
