Two found dead in Yucca Valley home; suspected murder-suicide

On March 4, 2025, deputies from the Morongo Basin responded to a call concerning suspicious circumstances at a residence in the 6600 block of La Habra Avenue, Yucca Valley. The call was made after an individual noticed a foul odor emanating from the house. Upon arrival, deputies discovered two deceased adults inside.

The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail has taken over the investigation. Detectives suspect that this is a murder/suicide case. An autopsy is planned for both individuals to establish the cause of death.

Detectives C. Lopez and Travis Gagne are leading the investigation under Case No. H# 2025-019 DR# 232500342.
