Between October 25 and November 1, 2024, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department carried out a series of operations aimed at crime suppression. This initiative, named Operation Consequences, involved investigators from the department's Gangs/Narcotics Division alongside deputies from various patrol stations.

During this period, eight search warrants were executed across several locations in San Bernardino County. The areas targeted included the 11000 block of Helena Street in Adelanto, the 23000 block of Isatis Avenue in Apple Valley, and the 34000 block of Cambria Road in Lucerne Valley. These operations resulted in contact with gang members and individuals prohibited from firearm possession. Authorities seized eight firearms and arrested four suspects as part of these efforts.

The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors has provided funds to support county-wide crime suppression activities. This funding aims to enhance law enforcement services addressing quality-of-life issues within the community.

Operation Consequences is designed to conduct targeted crime suppression operations specifically in the High Desert area and around San Bernardino city. The operation involves personnel from various divisions including the Sheriff's Gangs/Narcotics Division, Specialized Enforcement Division, patrol stations, California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino County Probation, United States Marshals Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force, and Department of Homeland Security Investigations.

The goal is to reduce violent crime by disrupting criminal street gangs and apprehending individuals involved in illegal firearm activities. This operation will continue over several months.

For further information or inquiries regarding these actions, contact can be made through the Public Affairs Division at (909) 387-3700.

Sheriff-Coroner Shannon D. Dicus leads these efforts under the auspices of the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department.
