Between July 13 and July 19, 2024, investigators from the Sheriff’s Gangs/Narcotics Division, Specialized Enforcement Division, and multiple patrol stations, along with personnel from California Highway Patrol, Upland Police Department, Fontana Unified School District Police, San Bernardino County Probation, United States Marshals Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force, and Department of Homeland Security Investigations continued targeted crime suppression efforts under Operation Consequences.

During this period, including a focused operation on July 19 in Highland and surrounding county areas, six search warrants were executed in Yucaipa, Loma Linda, San Bernardino, Desert Hot Springs, Highland, Yucca Valley, and White Water. Investigators contacted gang members and individuals prohibited from possessing firearms. A total of 24 firearms were seized—including two ghost guns—and 54 felony arrests were made. Additionally, over one pound of suspected illegal narcotics was recovered.

The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors has authorized funds to support county-wide crime suppression efforts. This funding aims to enhance law enforcement services related to quality-of-life issues affecting local communities.

Operation Consequences will continue focusing on targeted crime suppression operations as well as parole and probation checks in the High Desert and other areas under the Sheriff’s jurisdiction surrounding San Bernardino. The operation involves personnel from various divisions within the Sheriff's Department alongside agencies such as California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Probation. The initiative will extend over several months with the objective of curbing violent crime by disrupting criminal street gangs and apprehending individuals involved in illegal firearm activities.
