On January 16, 2026, at approximately 8:21 p.m., the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of multiple gunshots near Glen Canyon Lane and Burwood Avenue in Victorville. Deputies found Jeremy Rosales, a 14-year-old resident of Victorville, suffering from gunshot wounds in the street. He was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail has taken over the investigation. Authorities have not identified any suspects at this time. The department stated, “This investigation is ongoing at this time. Additional information will be released when it becomes available.”
