San Bernardino County Sheriff investigates fatal shooting of woman in Hesperia

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department announced on April 12 that deputies responded to a reported shooting at a residence on the 14300 block of Willow Street in Hesperia, where they found Monique Bojorquez, a 31-year-old resident, unresponsive in the driveway with a gunshot wound. Deputies provided medical aid until emergency responders arrived and pronounced Bojorquez deceased.

Authorities said the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division has taken over the case and an autopsy is scheduled to determine the manner and cause of death. The investigation remains ongoing, and officials are asking anyone with information to contact their division or submit anonymous tips through We-Tip or online reporting.
