San Bernardino authorities seek public help identifying man killed in Rancho Cucamonga

On August 15, 2025, the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Division responded to a fatal traffic incident involving an unidentified man in Rancho Cucamonga. The incident occurred at 11:46 p.m. under an overpass near Interstate 15 and Foothill Boulevard.

The deceased, referred to as John Doe #112-25, is described as a male between 25 and 35 years old, standing 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 129 pounds. He had black hair, a black mustache, and chin hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a denim jacket, sweatshirt, black t-shirt, and black denim jeans. A distinctive tattoo of a playboy bunny shape was found on his left wrist.

Authorities are seeking assistance from the public to help identify the man. “Anyone with information about the identity of the deceased male is asked to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Division at 909-387-2978 and reference case number 702505469. Callers wishing to remain anonymous should contact We-Tip at 1-800-78-CRIME (27463) or go to wetip.com,” according to the Coroner’s Office.

Sheriff-Coroner Shannon D. Dicus oversees the department handling this investigation.
