Rep. Pete Aguilar, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing California’s 33rd District since 2015, recently shared his thoughts on social media regarding current political issues and events. Born in Fontana, California, Aguilar graduated from the University of Redlands and resides in Redlands.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. Aguilar expressed his pride in welcoming Ralph Figueroa as his guest to a joint address. He highlighted Figueroa’s recognition as @studentvets’ 2024 Student Veteran of the Year and emphasized Figueroa’s community service amid challenges faced by veterans. “I’m proud to welcome Ralph Figueroa, @studentvets’ 2024 Student Veteran of the Year, as my guest to tonight’s joint address.”

Later that day, Aguilar addressed concerns about the Republican Budget plan through another post. He criticized the plan for its potential impact on Medicaid and health care costs for Americans. “Here’s the truth about the Republican Budget.”
