Rep. Pete Aguilar, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 33rd district since 2015, posted a series of critical statements on social media regarding national political figures and current policy debates.
On April 2, 2026, Aguilar criticized former Attorney General Pam Bondi in strong terms: “Pam Bondi will go down as the worst Attorney General in U.S. history. From her countless lies to her horrible mishandling of the Epstein files, she failed the American people from day one. Good riddance.”
The following day, April 3, Aguilar addressed economic issues and government spending priorities: “Life in America is more expensive than ever—and the President and Republicans in Congress couldn’t care less. Hardworking Americans can’t pay their bills, but Trump is focused on spending billions of taxpayer dollars on a costly war in the Middle East.”
Later that same day, he continued his criticism of federal budget decisions: “Trump wants $1.5 TRILLION in military spending, but somehow can’t find a single cent for working Americans’ health care. The President does not care about lowering costs or making life better for people here at home.”
Aguilar has served as the representative for California’s 33rd District since replacing Gary Miller in 2015. Born in Fontana, California in 1979 and currently residing in Redlands, Aguilar graduated from the University of Redlands with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2001.
