Rep. Pete Aguilar, who represents California’s 33rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed a range of issues affecting his constituents through a series of posts on social media.
On December 1, 2025, Aguilar commented on health care policy impacts in his region, stating, “Too many people here in the Inland Empire are suffering because of Republicans’ failed health care policies. Read how one of our neighbors in Grand Terrace will be impacted.”
Later that day, marking World AIDS Day, Aguilar wrote, “On World AIDS Day, we remember and honor those lost to HIV/AIDS. We must come together and recommit to finding a cure for HIV/AIDS and ending stigma and discrimination.” This message highlighted ongoing public health challenges and the importance of community action against disease-related stigma.
On December 2, 2025, Aguilar reflected on the anniversary of the San Bernardino terrorist attack: “On December 2, 2015, a horrific terrorist attack took the lives of 14 people in San Bernardino. Today, we mourn, remember and honor those we lost. #SanBernardinoStrong”
Aguilar has represented California’s 33rd district since replacing Gary Miller in 2015. Born in Fontana in 1979 and currently residing in Redlands, he graduated from the University of Redlands with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2001.
