Rep. Pete Aguilar, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 33rd district since 2015, has recently addressed issues related to health care costs and support for veterans in a series of posts on his official social media account.

On November 13, 2025, Aguilar wrote: “Health care and the cost of living are way too expensive in America. House Democrats will keep fighting back to protect the ACA tax credits that keep your health care affordable.”

The following day, he criticized Republican leadership in Congress regarding health insurance premiums. On November 14, 2025, he posted: “Speaker Johnson and House Republicans have made it clear time and time again that they do not care if your health insurance premiums skyrocket. House Democrats will keep fighting back against these reckless attacks on your health care.”

Later that same day, Aguilar highlighted his participation in a community event supporting veterans ahead of Thanksgiving. He stated: “Ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, it is so important that our community comes together to honor our veterans and give our thanks to them. I was proud to join the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 12 to help make sure our veterans have turkeys on their tables.”

Aguilar has served as a representative since succeeding Gary Miller in 2015. Born in Fontana, California in 1979 and currently residing in Redlands, Aguilar graduated from the University of Redlands with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2001.
