The Redlands Bulldogs claimed an 8-2 victory over the Gustavus Adolphus Golden Gusties in their NCAA Division III softball game Tuesday, March 3, at 2 p.m. Former Aquinas High School standout Leila Gomez now plays for the Bulldogs.
The teams met at The Field of Dreams for the second time this season. The Bulldogs previously defeated the Golden Gusties 5-3 in an earlier matchup, also on Tuesday, March 3.
Gomez contributed one hit in two at-bats and scored once.
Redlands’ next contest is set for Friday, March 6, at 2 p.m., when they host California Lutheran Regals at William Hutton Field.
