Former Summit High School standout Quinn Stewart and his current college team, the Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes, were defeated 8-6 by the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos in an NCAA Division II baseball game held Friday, March 6, at 2 p.m.
Fiscalini Field hosted the teams’ opening meeting of the season.
Stewart pitched 2.1 innings, allowing one earned run with one walk and one strikeout.
The Coyotes’ following contest is set for Saturday, March 7, at 12 p.m., once again at Fiscalini Field against the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos.
