Between May 26 and June 1, 2025, a targeted crime suppression operation took place in San Bernardino County. The operation, known as “Operation Consequences,” was conducted by investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Gangs/Narcotics Division, deputies from patrol stations, and personnel from partnering agencies. They executed four search warrants in San Bernardino and Redlands.
Throughout the week-long initiative, authorities engaged with gang members and individuals prohibited from possessing firearms. This led to the seizure of five firearms and suspected methamphetamine. In total, there were 13 felony arrests and five misdemeanor arrests.
The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors provided funding to enhance law enforcement services aimed at addressing quality-of-life issues within the community. Operation Consequences is part of an ongoing effort to conduct targeted crime suppression operations in the High Desert and surrounding areas under the Sheriff’s jurisdiction.
The operation involves multiple agencies including the Sheriff’s Gangs/Narcotics Division, Specialized Enforcement Division, patrol stations, California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino Police Department, San Bernardino County Probation, United States Marshals Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force, and Department of Homeland Security Investigations. It aims to reduce violent crime by disrupting criminal street gangs and apprehending individuals involved in illegal firearm activities.
