On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Redlands East Valley High School standout Ryan Halamicek’s current college team, the Cal State Northridge Matadors, won 9-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the BYU Cougars.

The game took place at Robert J. Hiegert Field. This was their third matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Matadors’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. at L. Dale Mitchell Park against Oklahoma Sooners.
