Homicide investigation underway after body found in Needles

Deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a deceased person near Broadway Street and Quivera Street in Needles on August 26, 2025. Upon arrival, they found an unidentified male victim down a ravine.

The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail has taken over the case. An autopsy is planned to determine the cause and manner of death. The investigation is ongoing, and no suspects have been identified at this time.
