Former Citrus Valley High School standout Kade Finazzo’s current team, Cal State San Bernardino, fell 16-11 to Cal Poly Pomona in a NCAA Division II baseball game Sunday, March 8, at 1 p.m.
The contest was held at Fiscalini Field and marked the fourth meeting between the Coyotes and Broncos this season. In the teams’ previous contest on Saturday, March 7, the Coyotes lost 8-6.
On the mound, Finazzo pitched 3.2 innings, allowing three walks and tallying one strikeout.
Cal State San Bernardino’s next matchup is set for Tuesday, March 10, at 5 p.m. at Fiscalini Field against the Redlands Bulldogs.
