At 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, Cal State San Bernardino, which features former Summit High School star Quinn Stewart, was defeated by the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos, 16-11, in an NCAA Division II baseball matchup.
Fiscalini Field was the site for this fourth meeting of the season between the two teams. The Coyotes also dropped their previous contest on Saturday, March 7, falling 8-6 to the Broncos.
Stewart pitched 0.1 innings, giving up two earned runs, issuing three walks, and registering one strikeout.
The Coyotes are set to play next on Tuesday, March 10, at 5 p.m. at Fiscalini Field against the Redlands Bulldogs.
