Investigations carried out by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Gangs/Narcotics Division, resulted in the execution of four search warrants between March 24 and March 31, 2025. These actions took place at locations in Lake Arrowhead, Crestline, and Fontana. As a result of these operations, conducted with support from deputies from various patrol stations, investigators apprehended gang members and individuals illegally in possession of firearms.
During the period, authorities seized four firearms and confiscated illegal narcotics found at the search sites. The operation led to the arrest of 12 individuals on felony charges and six individuals on misdemeanor charges.
These efforts are part of the county-wide crime suppression initiative funded by the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors. The funding was “authorized… for county-wide crime suppression” to increase law enforcement presence and address quality-of-life issues within local communities.
Dubbed “Operation Consequences,” this initiative will focus on crime suppression in the High Desert and areas under the jurisdiction of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, surrounding San Bernardino itself. It is designed to tackle violent crime, dismantle criminal street gangs, and target the illegal possession, manufacture, and trafficking of firearms.
In addition to local law enforcement, the operation will involve personnel from the California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino County Probation, United States Marshals Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force, and Department of Homeland Security Investigations. Operation Consequences is expected to continue for several months.
