On Wednesday, April 2, three former Aquinas High School standouts, including Ava Martinez, Elleana Navarro and Leilani Bustamante’s current college team, the Kansas City Roos, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Kansas Jayhawks.

The game took place at Arrocha Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Jayhawks this season.

The Roos’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 1 p.m. at Albrecht Field against North Dakota Fighting Hawks.
